Paragraph: A garment worker

Salma is a garment worker in a factory In Dhaka. She leads a very laborious life all day long. She starts her work at 8 a.m. and ends at about 9 p.m. she starts for her working place at about 7 a.m. on foot with two of her girl colleagues. She is given a break for half an hour for lunch. She has to work in the factory for long 13 hours a day. But she is ill-paid, ill-fed, ill-clad and ill-housed. She likes leading a very simple and honest life and dislikes shirking duties and speaking ill of others behind them. She keeps good terms with her colleagues. She has a desire to have a lift in her service by satisfying the authority through of getting married. She thinks that she would marry a fellow worker after her choice and start a new life of hopes and aspirations.
