Post man is a very familiar figure in our society. He is a low- paid government employee of the postal department. He puts on a khaki dress. He carries a leather bag across his shoulders. He moves from door to door and delivers letters, parcels, money orders and other postal articles. He is as regular as a clock. He performs his duties in all weather fair or foul. He is honest, dutiful and well-behaved. He is a friend of all and enemy of none. He lives a very poor life. He can hardly make both ends meet with his small income. A village postman< leads a more toilsome life than a town postman. Thus a postman is a very important person in our society. We can not think of a civilized life without the services of a postman. We should give him due honor and try to better his condition.
